Douglas Young Chairman
Doug is a geologist with over 40 years experience in mineral exploration and is a specialist in gold and base metals, project generation and acquisition.
In 2005 Doug founded ActivEX Limited, a Queensland focused gold and copper explorer and was instrumental in the listing and development of the company as Managing Director through to 2014. Doug was responsible for acquisition of the company’s asset base, fund raising activities through equity and joint venture funding, government grants and research rebates.
From 2014 to 2015 along with private investors, Doug, as founding Managing Director was involved in the discovery of Australia’s largest graphite deposit, vending the project into an ASX listed company. Since 2015, Doug has been acquiring gold and base metals projects for Red Fox.
Juli Hugenholtz Managing Director
Juli is a geologist with over 25 years experience in exploration for gold and base metals throughout Australia and New Zealand.
She was instrumental in the listing of ActivEX Limited in 2006 and was Exploration Manager for the company until 2017, responsible for all aspects of exploration through to resource definition. During the period the company acquired and defined three projects to resource status.
Juli has technical experience in a variety of corporate settings from junior to mid-tier explorers, consulting and contracting roles, tenure management, stakeholder liaison and exploration and project management including JORC reporting. She has corporate experience with company start-ups and IPOs through to secondary capital raising, joint venture negotiation, government grants and tax rebates.
Paul Crawford Company Secretary and Non Executive Director
Paul is an accountant with over 35 years of commercial experience, including various technical and management roles within the minerals, coal and petroleum industries.
He is Principal of his own corporate consultancy firm, providing accounting, corporate governance, business advisory and commercial management services to a number of corporate clients since 2001.
Paul is also a Director of the ASX listed Sayona Mining Limited (since 2000). He was a founding director and Company Secretary of Orecobre Limited from 2005 to 2013, Elementos Limited from 2009 to 2015 and ActivEX Limited from 2005 to 2017.
